Playaction passing teams are routinely the most heavily sacked. A well timed blitz is basically an automatic sack against an immobile QB running playaction from under center. If the defense doesn't bite, it's game over.

It's actually why I prefer playaction run from the gun, because the QB doesn't have to turn his back to the defense and can get rid of the ball if the defense comes after him.

wow, good observation. You mean if the DC calls the right play, then the offensive play isn't going to work? You're a god damned genius

Case in point: A&M vs. Arkansas 2011

Tyler Wilson was sacked four times, twice by defensive backs, and twice by Sean Porter. He still managed to put up over 500 yards because the defensive line couldn't get any pressure at all, only getting 1 total TFL from Spencer Nealy. A&M led time of possession but still managed to blow a 35-17 halftime lead.
