If true, Mullen not only doing the right thing, he is doing the smart thing. Let everyone see the coach punish the kid without waiting for media or ncaa or sec bringin the heavy heat on him. We also will never know what kind of conversations he and his staff have had with him about this in the past which could impact his decision.
