I felt Driskel played dumb this game. He kept trying to force it down field instead of take the underneath, easy stuff. Maybe he was too hyped to play Bama and wanted the knock out punch. If we can coach him to be more disciplined, he might have a decent year. You really can't underestimate the amount of time it takes to transition into a new offense.
With that said, I do agree I'm ready for Grier or Harris to start. Just don't think this year is the right time for them. There needs to be a true open competition next year though.

I can no longer stand by Driskel. He wasn't entirely to blame for the crapfest we had on the field...he just was too slow pulling the trigger and it hurt us in stopping drives.
We did have a lot of dropped passes that have to stop...where the hell are Fullwood and Dunbar? We had no production passing...so its hard to say what happened to our other guys...but Driskel is too slow pulling the trigger..period.
We need to start grooming someone else. Roper called a bad game and hopefully he can turn it around.
