Anyone think the A&M beat down will be a blessing in disguise?

I really think that getting smashed by the Aggies in week 1 could prove to be one of the better things that happened to us. We still have some vulnerabilities in the secondary but I think being humbled really got them inspired to be better in hopes of never being embarrassed like that again.

We still have a long way to go. Mizzou won't beat easy and neither will @AU or @UF.. but they look like they've got some holes as well. Sometimes getting kicked in the teeth is exactly what someone (or some team) needs to get their asses into gear. I hope that what happened in week 1 is exactly what's happening to us.

I suppose if you're team is need of a wake-up, week 1 is the place to start.

Maybe. We'll see as the year goes on. If Mizzou does what aTm did then it wasn't.

I really think that aTm was the worst possible team we could have opened with though. Their offense played directly to our weakness. We showed improvement against ECU and UGA but we still need to improve more if we want to beat Mizzou

Maybe i am too dense, but getting publically raped and humiliated on national tv is never a blessing.

Yes, although I'm not sure I'd call it a blessing but rather a wake-up call to forget about all the preseason press they were getting and instead work harder and focus and do not overlook anyone from here on out.
