Meh, mine's been compromised 2 or 3 times at different stored over the years. Every time it happened, the credit card company caught it, deactivated my card, and overnighted a new one to me.
It's bothersome and worrisome, but nothing to get too concerned over. Most good credit cards have safeguards in place to protect you.

If a number shows up on that list, the company automatically deactivates the card for anything but a physical swipe and immediately issues a new number/card.
