Does this mean LSU actually won the title in 2011
No, it means the SEC rigged the first game so that LSU would win and therefore insuring the all sec bcsncg .

Your thread title sucks...delusional UGA fans? Nobody with a brain thinks that the refs ruined the game for us. The 438 yards of offense and offensive line play by USCe lost the game for us. We got beat, plain and simple.
Accept the win and thank god every night for Spurrier. Jesus, these threads.

Eh, considering the superfluous shite talking that was done on tRant and IRL about this game following UGA beating Clemson (welcome to the party!), you kinda had to expect it a little.
No, I get it. Especially since you haven't been able to gloat since the season started.

I dont read sports article written by women. There job is to look good in dresses on the sideline and hold the microphone for the halftime and postgame interview.
Thanks

We don't gloat .... we never gloat.
We were not gloating during the off season.
Regardless - there is a certain peace to be found in having your asses handed to you right out of the gate, first game, at home.
What it means for us is pure focus - cannot lose another one, plain and simple. No trap game excuses, no overlooking anyone, no failure to focus. It makes it very simple.
I would suspect that UGA fans, of all fan bases, would be able to relate.

"Epic" is so over used and mis-used it has lost its true meaning.
Let's go back to using "awesome" instead.
BTW, the only game that's been positively shown to have been intentionally influenced and controlled by SEC refs was the '96 Vols at SCAR game in which SEC refs made sure Peyton and the Vols won the game.

It would've been more beneficial to have two undefeated teams potentially meet in the SECCG imo.
The SEC isn't considered strong because it plays itself. We are considered strong becasue we win the NC. A SECCG with the least amount of losses allows us to get 1 and maybe 2 teams in the playoff.

More than a few yrs ago, a friend used to ref SEC basketball games & he told of their annual, preseason officials' meetings in B.ham. They would meet with the league director of basketball officials, get their marching orders, cover new rules, etc. Then, post meeting, all the refs would get together with the baseball umpires at a bar close to the league officials. The football refs never joined them despite offers from both the refs & umps.Refs & umps agreed they were told, league game, on the road, the home team gets the nutcutting time calls, in basketball particularly for crowd control purposes. The football refs would never meet with them or discuss anything said in their meetings. But my friend said the general consensus from both groups was that the football refs were told something very similar if not more direct.Conspiricies, mabe not. Bias, obviously.
