I think that it will be a close game. Generally speaking, Bama/Ole Miss games in the past (sans 2010 and a couple others) have been relatively close when played in Oxford.

I think this weekend's game against UF will show us alot in regards to our chances against Bama from a fan's perspective. Bama has one if not THE best receivers in the nation. Ole Miss has one of the better defenses against the pass.

Overall I think it will be a good game.

At 6'4" and 200+ lbs I just don't see Bama's OLBs and Ss being able to hold him under120+ and a TD or 2...

Of course they can put a gameplan together to stop Cody Core. This is the Crimson Tide, most talented team in the country outside the NFL. But if they have their linebackers and safeties key on Core, who gets to stop that hybrid wide receiver posing as a tight end, Evan Ingram? and if they figure this out, then you have those wideouts Treadwell and Sanders. also have to watch that wheel route to the backs out the backfield...serious question, how do u stop it? best answer is to outscore us. will be interesting to see how many west teams can.

Unless Bama falls to Florida there is a 0% chance Ole Miss is the betting favorite when the line opens on that game.

They believe we'll somehow make the plays down the stretch and win a barn burner

"barn burner" refers to what is coming for auburn. The phrase we use for the Ole Miss game is "walk in the park".

said with the confidence gained from dominating one team for 100 years. I can understand that. however, you never mentioned how your team might go about trying to stop those weapons I referred several posts back.

One nice side bet for this game will be if the Ole Miss offense will score more points for the bears or for the tide.

You'd rather me hang it on someone at a different position ? How about Freshmen All SEC Tony Conner who broke your coach's heart in the spring of 2013 ? Or 1st team AA Cody Prewiit ? Freshman AA Denzel Nkemdiche or All SeC LB Serderius Bryant... Maybe Frosh AA Laremy Tunsil or SEC Freshman of the Year Laquon MFin Treadwell ?

I just chose Core cause he was a low rated player with a less than stellar offer list... He's just a junior too... Other than Prewitt and Bryant and Denzel , every player I've mentioned is a fricking sophomore.. Yall's WRs better strap their frickin head gear on tight ... People know who Senquez, Prewitt, Conner and Bird Bryant are... It's time For then to get to know freshman CJ Hampton.

Gameday will be there and the shits gonna be live !!!!!!11!!!1!!!1!

I didn't even mention Robert...

I don't know who is going to win, none of us do. But I know no matter what Ole Miss will not be favored over Alabama.

Fans that are 8-51 against an opponent talking trash is a slap in the face for the art of trash talking.
