Agree we will have trouble throwing against a 4-2-5. The key in that case will be if we can run the QB draw effectively because in that set that will be the defenses weak point. Quick slants in the middle and QB draws will force a defensive change to bring more in the box and allow us to air it out.

Play calling will be our key. We have a balanced offense that can spread a defense thin forcing 1 on 1 situations if we make the proper calls. Our D stopping the run will be key also...force a young QB to throw in the face of pressure and hope our secondary does just enough

I think that's where LSU will win a crucial battle. You won't be able to throw it. Not to the point where we'll respect that. We have too much talent in our Secondary relative to your multi-receiver set's collective skill set and talent levels.

If that happens, its all a matter of whether our DL can stop the run. If we can adequately hold at the point of attack-and I admittedly say if here-then we will really make it tough on State to move the chains and put points on the board.

Even having success with your Front 7, if you can't keep them off the field, we'll eventually establish a TOP-related advantage to wear you down and shrink the back end of the game while scoring some late points to pull away.
