As long as he makes it to Oxford this weekend, I'm not worried. He'll get a chance to hang with Kincade (local Dallas product) and I'm sure he'll meet Chad Kelly too.

Add in one of the most likable players in the country in LaQuon Treadwell.

Our staff/town/students does about as good as anyone in the country at laying out the red carpet for recruits, especially on our big recruiting weekend. You can insert pay recruits reference, but our town really does know how to handle a recruiting visit.

Adeboyejo committed at like 10pm on Friday of his official back in 13.

And, you better believe Sumlin's indirect comments regarding Lodge's decommitment will be brought up. You can argue whether he's right or wrong, but perception is reality and he took a shot at the kid, bottomline.

The difference with Quincy Adeboyejo is that we already had a shitload of receivers in that class at the time he decommitted:

Ricky Seals-Jones
Quiv Gonzales
Jeremy Tabuyo
Jaquay Williams
Sebastian Larue
Kyrion Parker
Cameron Clear (TE)

We only have 2 receivers and 1 TE in this current class:

Jordan Davis (TE)
Damion Ratley
Kemah Siverand

Adeboyejo decommitted after we already had several WR locked up. Lodge left when we only had 2 (Ratley didn't commit until 2 months later)

You can bring up Sumlin's comment all you want, but Lodge started it with the "watch errbody else leave with me" tweet.

Adeboyejo has just over 30 catches, <400 yards, and 3 TDs in 2 years at OM. He may have trouble selling on the field production for Lodge. Plus as bad as Bo was at times he is still better than Kelly.
