Is there a hypothetical situation in which you would agree that Oregon could compete in the SEC?

I'm not saying I think they could, I'm just asking if there was ever a situation in which you would think it. Because if that situation does not actually exist threads like this are pretty unnecessary.

What is your definition of competing in the SEC? Could they win 8-9 games a year with an occasional 10 win season (out of conference games included), sure. But I don't see them being able to be legit SEC championship contenders on a year in/year out basis. Most years they'd probably go 5-3 or 4-4 in the SEC depending on who all they played that year.
