Scott's penalty was just as absurd

Should it have been called? Nah, probably not. Just as absurd? Laughable. Keep in mind I already said he shouldn't have been flagged..BUT, he at least did SOMETHING. I believe he raised his hands in the air. Not that that merits a penalty, but at least he DID something. AJ Green, literally, looked into the crowd. Didn't shake his head, hands by his side, didn't dance, literally cast his gaze into the stands. That's bullshite.

then had to kickoff from the 15,too.

By then the damage was essentially done. How much time was left, like 20 seconds? I know this is all moot, but I think it's pretty clear to see, thinking rationally, that the game would have gone much different had LSU gotten the ball back trailing, on their own 20, with a minute left.

remember, too, that all LSU needed was a field goal to re-take the lead.

But even with Georgia having kicked off from the 15 the refs and SEC didn't place the ball at the Georgia 40. Georgia could have stopped Williams inside the LSU side and they darn sure could have tackled Charles Scott from taking it in 35 yards.

Neither the refs nor the SEC placed the ball at the Georgia 5 after Green's penalty.
