um... LSU was unranked and had two losses while MSU had one loss and was ranked No. 14.

They were protecting MSU. LSU was having a losing season.

Yep. Wasn't even close. I've never been able to find video or any photos showing that play. Amazing nothing exists on the web.

An interesting story of mine. I was a student at MSU and had sideline passes that game. I didn't have a direct look at it, but the initial reaction from the sideline and the players on the field was disgust, as it was obviously short.

Then the line judge came in and signaled TD after a brief clearing of the pileup.

Any State fan that says he was in has no clue. I've always viewed the screenshot above as karma biting us back the next year.

And it is amazing that video of that '99 game hasn't emerged as much as its talked about.

You should see the video! The ball came out on the two yard line. It was ran back for a Miss State TD, but then was ruled an LSU TD by the official on the opposite side of the field (No review back then). Instead of Miss State going up by 21, LSU cut the lead to 7. That was a big Ol' buttfricking, but all you hear from Barney and Winnie the Poo's kids is that they got cheated in '99.
Also, Anthony Dixon broke the plane for what should have been the winning TD in '09, but we got buttfricked again. Then Tyson Lee mistook himself for Tim Tebow (twice) and pissed the game away. The LSUmbitches overlook games like that when they brag about that "one loss".

Maybe, but I'm going with the theory that the OP is buttressing his theory that the 2000 game against LSU was pivotal in the downfall of Jackie Sherrill and the beginning of the end for State's 4 year reign over the SEC West. Not agreeing with his theory, just paraphrasing what he said in his other thread today.

Just watched the video. It is very very close as to whether or not he fumbled. He prolly did but there isnt a goal line view. And the Miss State player picks it up and is then tackled out the back of the endzone immediately, all while the score was 7-0. So every part of your post was a lie LINK

Thanks for posting the video.

TV was really bad as recently as 2000.

That other poster was a dumbass. I swore it was in the first quarter and the video proved it.

I met my wife at that game, its weird that I remember vivid details of the actual game.

Then you fumbled twice dipshit because the ball was ran back by Josh Morgan on the one I remember and it would have made the lead 21.

We were also up 14-7 dip to the dippest shite. So clearly hard drugs have ruined your memory. The only point possible for you to go up 21 would be when it was 31-17, and there was no controversial fumbles or runbacks at all.

LSU fumbled when Miss State was up 31 - 17 and Josh Morgan ran it back for a TD. It was called back by an official with no view and LSU ran it in for a TD the very next play. Maybe you shoved a corndog too far up your nose and left you with selective memory. I have the game on VHS and that play was a bigger one than the OP play.
