CNB is good people, I dont understand what point you are trying to make here. Just because he likes to post on the Georgia board that means he considers UGA a rival?

the point is he can say UGA is not a rival but his actions tell a different story...as to your characterization of CNB as good people, while I am neither a fan of southern colloquialisms nor the mixture of singular and plural in one sentence, i agree with your characterization...very intelligent and even-handed poster.

I don't understand how any of my actions can prove UGA is a rival to South Carolina. I am one fan on one message board.

You know...I've led the chants against USCe not being a real rivalry, but if considering it a rival makes Richt prepare better/as much as Spurrier than I'm all for it.

We'd be better off if Richt thought the game meant nothing...Dude is Bear Bryant in meaningless games played between August and December...

WG you've gotten pretty angry in your posts the last couple months. I don't remember you like that last year.

My apologies..I wasn't tryin to be a dick to you. Really, the only time I get testy is dealing with the handful of completely retarded MORONS who post on here after losses, which there have been more than usual this week, and a few certain issues. Our rivals is one.

SC IS a rival, they are just no higher than 5th. I've made my case many times so I'll just move on for now.

100% agree with you and guess what? Every goal you mentioned is still on the table We haven't lost out on any goal we had going into the season other than an undefeated season. Everything else is still in play.

Every team in the East is a rival.

As Tennessee and Florida have fallen a bit, SC has gotten its program to a much better spot. Just the way it goes.

That said, I think this year's game was more about Georgia beating themselves and having a godawful secondary than "Spurrier having our number," though SC clearly played very well.

So a rivalry comes and goes willy nilly based on the coach?

I said it feels like one. Spurrier seems to treat it that way. I certainly get more anxiety about it than our real rivals.

But if we're going strictly by definition, yes they're rivals.
