Honestly, buses were a shitshow when I rode them over 20 years ago. One of the 2 fights I got in at school was on the bus. I have an idea what they'll be exposed to. Our district is somewhat insulated from real troublemakers(fairly affluent area) so I'm not too worried about it. The wife is a different story, but I digress...
My son goes to a different school next year which is way out of the way for the wife and I in the morning, so the bus is about the only option. I don't want him to learn it's okay to look down his nose at apartment kids(read:poors) like this parent did last night, which I'm sure she's passing on to her kids. I was the poor being looked down on when I was in school and it's a crummy feeling.
