Why should he?

Well, if you want me to actually spell it out, I was comparing each coach's first three years. That's probably why.

You're effectively on the job training for him

I'm not doing anything for him but cheering for the team and for their success. You know, being a fan. Weird huh. I spend no time training him.

I guess you missed my point.

If you're going to compare them, the most accurate comparisons would be what Saban inherited at Bama and what Miles inherited at LSU.

Fair enough, but that doesn't support any kind of broader comparison between Muschamp and the success of those two coaches. I'm trying to tell you that even if he does end up being some great coach, chances are that Florida won't be the one to reap the benefits. You guys have two MNCs in the last 8 seasons. The bar's a little higher than at Mich State or Okie Lite. You won't be keeping him around to watch his development. Why not move on now?

Again, I guess I should support your loyalty to the man, but I just don't get it. And I'm a pretty big Miles homer in spite of his quirks and shortcomings.

You're a good sport for a gator, bro. I honestly don't get the love, but it's none of my business. Maybe it's the LSU fan in me. I would have fired Bieliema (sp?) after one season.
