Surely you can think of something better to do with that washed up ole coot than play golf.

On a side note, is it just me, or is Finebaum seemingly the only person that gets under Spurrier's skin/irritates him a bit?

Spurrier is an icon in the world of SEC football. he's been around as a player and a coach for 50 years; he singlehandedly (seemingly) turned the UF program around as a PLAYER and a COACH. has won the Heisman and won a national championship.

I don't know why you don't like him but you really should respect his lifetime of outstanding contributions to SEC football. AND, at this stage of his life, HE IS A BETTER FOOTBALL COACH THAN BEAR BRYANT WAS (at the same age).

far from washed up.

Just you. There is a local reporter that irks him so badly Spurrier's literally tried to run the guy out of town.
