I was watching the game again and when the announcers start talking about all the Wisconsin OL that went to the NFL, it got me thinking about the futures for our offensive linemen. Who do you think will eventually get drafted? I'm more interested in discussing players who have already played a lot, but it would be fun to consider players based on hype, too.
So far I think we've seen enough from Denver Kirkland and Dan Skipper to think that they'll probably get drafted. I don't think any of the older guys have really proven they are good enough.
As for hyped players, I think it's pretty obvious that Bielema and Pittman expect Frank Ragnow to be a great and potentially NFL-caliber center.
Who else might make the cut?

Hard to say, but agree on Kirkland and Skip. Not sure what the experts are saying about Cook, Tretola, and Jefferson.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Cook and Tretola both ended up on a team, even if non-drafted.

Brian Wallace is going to be a stud.

I have always liked Brey Cook and I hope I'm wrong but I dont think he will be drafted and I don't think he will have a long career in the NFL. Brey was one of the guys that Bret specifically spoke about only being able to play 40 snaps or so against elite competition. He is a great hog but the younger guys have more talent/potential.

Kirkland and Skipper for sure. Tretola has a chance to go 2nd or 3rd with a big year as a Sr. Jefferson could be worth a late round if he doesnt beat out Cook by game 7. Playing him at TE at 6-6 310 is gonna catch some GM's eyeballs.
Cook will get a training camo invite and may work his way to the final cuts but I dont think any of the Homegrown OL that came in under Klenakis have a shot. They got stunted for 3 years. Charp blows as is. Smothers could work his way into practice squad w/ his versatility and mean his way onto an active roster if that team has injuries.
Hope all of them do but reality of how hard it is to get in the NFL says probably 4 out of the main 6 at best.
I think Ragnow will be a star.

Yeah, I think it's pretty obvious that Skip and Kirkland are already our top 2 lineman as true frosh. Cook and Smothers just aren't as talented. Tretola is so big I could see him getting a shot. Ragnow and Wallace gonna be studs

.@RazorbackFB starting OLine has an avg. weight of 328.4 lbs. That is heavier than any starting Oline in the NFL in week 1 #WPS

It was 321, 324 and now 328. Wish they would make their mind up.

I think because Tretola is a starter now, it's up a good bit
