I've done 25 of these interviews and nobody brings up Auburn, and they are really good," Danielson said in the recent interview. "For an SEC champion, they have really been able to fly under the radar. I think Gus Malzahn is as much of a genius on offense as (Alabama coach Nick) Saban is on defense. It's really interesting to see them float below the radar like this."

Danielson is a moron like usual. It is tough to say Auburn is completely flying under the radar when they are the second highest rated SEC team in both polls

Auburn is ranked top 5 in every poll I've seen.
Not sure what more they could want at this point?

Nobody brings them up because they haven't played a big game yet. It's not disrespect so much as we have no measuring stick to evaluate them. Same thing with Bama it's not like people are putting them in the playoff right now.

The only thing we can do is assume that they are a top 10 team based on the information we have.

After next weekend I suspect a lot of people will be talking about Auburn.

I agree with Danielson.

Auburn is being barely discussed. Considering Auburn looks better on offense than they did last year, you'd think the national analysts would be referring to Auburn in the same vein as Florida State, Oklahoma, and Oregon.

Also flying under the radar is Alabama. Barely anyone is talking about Alabama on a national level yet Alabama is ranked #2. For a team to be 2nd in the polls, you'd expect the quarterback situation to be one of the hot topics, but I hear very little about Alabama outside of the Paul Finebaum show.

I do think if Auburn can put 40+ points on Kansas State and keep Kansas State below 21 points, ESPN will wake up to what kind of team Malzahn has right now.

I'm sure if y'all would've played yesterday there would've been plenty of Auburn talk. I heard plenty even though y'all didn't play. Certainly don't think anyone in the SEC is underestimating AU. Personally the game at JHS is the one on the schedule that bothers me the most.

Do people still say this?

Because I mean, the evidence says the man can't devise a defense to consistently defend a high-quality spread offense to save his life....

We must be talking about "old" Nick Saban.

Hopefully most Auburn fans don't agree with the guy, because there's nothing more Little Brother than being ranked in the top 5 in the nation and still thinking you're flying under the radar just because the "other team" is ranked higher.
