Why do you post here and troll UF on the SECR? Just curious.

Everyone's a troll in the Rant, very few people are actually sportsmen around these parts, until they want access to the board.

That's 100% true and also why I don't post on other boards or have any desire to do so.

I do not actively troll Gators on the Rant. I do respond to some Gators on the Rant when it seems they have been drinking too much Kool Aid in the hopes of getting to a less Kool Aid stance. I lived in FL and still have family there and have followed Gator sports (not just football) longer than most of the folks on the Rant.

If I was going to troll most Gators I would do so via praise for Free Shoes U and show me any post made on the Rant by myself which supports such a position. Pretty sure you will not be able to find any such post.

Muschamp has been copping the frick out this last game, and it's not a good look. He needs to stop blaming his team and start blaming the scheme.

Boom isn't blaming players...and the one post I read before about him blaming Driskel is wrong. In the post game presser he was ASKED about the play where Driskel held the ball too long before throwing to DRob in end zone and Boom just confirmed what was obvious to everyone watching near the end zone or the big screen. Boom also is quick to blame himself for some things that need to be cleaned up.

That may be true, but I wouldn't be critical of any players after that game. Keep that shite for the locker room.

All Boom said was he needed to throw it sooner in response to a question about that play and the reporter was asking about the incompletion and it was obvious. Im sure Driskel is ok...if he doesn't have thick skin now from all the numbnuts on campus...then he will never have it.

That's for damn sure about the latter. We really need to support Driskel better this time around.

I'm sure he feels like if he makes one mistake everyone will never let him hear the end of it. Poor dude.

Driskel gets way to much shite. Was recruited by Urbz. Switched to a pro style. Under his 3rd offensive coordinator. Oline doesn't give him any protection. The receivers drop any ball that isn't thrown 100% perfect. Breaks his leg, people were actually happy and cheering about it and now people are saying he is playing scared. Made the most clutch play I have seen from a UF QB in 5 years last night and gets no credit for it. I mean damn. At this point the kid has shown more class then Chris Leak and Tebow combined.

frickin' all of this. I've been supportive of him for every year he's been here because -- he wasn't recruited for playing under center. So of course his instincts are going to look terrible. If you play 4 years at high school at a spread offense, then suddenly switch to a pro-style with really no way to develop -- you gonna have a bad time.

He made a hell of a throw last night and I don't think I've seen anyone outside of Reel, you or myself actually comment about how he (quite literally) saved the frickin' day. Last second playcall, hiked that shite and chucked it up right where he needed to.

I'm, quite honestly, surprised he's stuck around and I'll reiterate: There will be a ton of Florida fans who will thank him down the road, I guarantee it.

Its almost a reverse story of what Leak went through without the injury. Now we got some retards that want Treon to be the starter because he threw 2 great passes against EMU, the same retards that will not give the staff or the team any credit for finally getting a blowout victory but yet they give Treon all the credit for throwing a bomb to our best play maker against a tired EMU secondary and a pass to Herndon that was pretty much a 10 yard pass were Herndon did all the work, but yet the same the pass play that they bitch about and say we throw too much of (because its not a deep pass) or its the only play Driskel can complete.

Yep, I think Boxer did but it was a backhanded compliment if I remember correctly. Their was some LSU fans in the game thread that actually saw that play and said "wow that was huge for him, that was the biggest play of his career, and will give him loads of confidence going forward". That play will turn him into a beast now imo.

I think whats weird for UF fans right now is this. The offense actually came through in the clutch and saved the day and won the game. Nobody knows how to feel about that imo. I guarantee you the defense loved it and they will play their asses off harder for the offense now cause they know they finally have their back. I told my cousin last night this "on this surface this might not look great, but this is going to do big things for this team in the long run, hell maybe even in next week".

Man, I heard this same exact shite with Murphy who came in and sucked it all up.

We're definitely not accustomed to having an offense these years. It hasn't been that way for a while, and so having one is pretty intense and hard to adjust to. I do think we get better and better, but I also think the team has a lot of maturing to partake in.

The face of the matter is this. The offense got their shite together and scored 33 points (I know 16 of the points came in OT) after halftime. This would of never happened last year. We would of lost this game like 20-13 or 20-10ish. UK figured out we were young in the secondary and aired it out. The offense always responded with scoring drives, a counter punch per-say after UK threw the first punch. I have never seen a Muschamp led offense do this in crunch time. When our secondary gets some more game reps. Man we are gonna be some trouble for some teams down the road.

All I know is that I can't afford games like this. My bar tab was through the roof last night at the Austin alumni get together.

And our secondary will have some more experience back there. Our Dline may take a hit, but we seem to have a very prolific turnover at that position.

For some reason I think Foley gave Muschamp 2 years to turn it around and this really isn't his do or die season its actually 2015.

We would have lost this game last year, would not have had the offense to come back after UK took the lead. I think that alone shows improvement.

Go gators, roll the tide.
