His numbers are really hard to get a grasp on when compared to Daniel, Gabbert and Franklin. Seems he throws less but when he does throw, he throws for more. i.e. his total yards are lower but his ypa are higher.

Also, I know we've always been more of a run team than most people realize, but I don't remember this much of a gap. I my recollection just faulty?

Historically, Mizzou tried to balance 50/50 run/pass. However, if teams will let us run on them and we keep the sticks moving, it keeps the defense on the field and is a lower risk offense that is more punishing to a defense, i.e., it wear them down.
