If I asked someone what LSU's enrollment was, I wouldn't expect them to add in the students up in Shreveport, for example.

OU does the same thing. I used to think they were a larger school than Arkansas by far. In reality, they report system rather than main campus on all of their releases. Its dumb and I don't know why they do it. Its misleading.

People want to know how large a school is for various reasons. Locating a business nearby, whether or not its "too big" for their personal taste, etc.
