To be strong against the run would mean you have to have a DL with way more push than what we saw from USCe against A&M. If USCe doesn't correct that or their tackling, Gurley has another big day.
Mason on the other hand doesn't have to deal with the DL's that saw Clowney, Ingram, Quarles and the like. He's facing a pass rush that had seemingly no hurries against A&M and has one total sack on the year.
USC also couldn't seem to cover anybody. This bodes well for our receivers, even if Mitchell and JSW are out. Mason might be asked to beat someone, but I just don't know if it will be this weekend.
But with all of that said, we always seem to play USCe close, so I'm not gonna predict a blowout.

To be fair. Hill was making really quick reads and getting the ball out fast.
