A&M beat Carolina in the air, not on the ground. We don't know what they can against the run yet.

A&M rushed for 169 yards and East Carolina rushed for 132. They're not strong against the run either.

This is also the first time we'll be playing a "Run first, pass second" team. If we held UGA to only 132 rushing yards I think we'd be in good shape.

With that said I don't think we have the push on the DLine to get Gurley down at or behind the line of scrimmage.

To be strong against the run would mean you have to have a DL with way more push than what we saw from USCe against A&M. If USCe doesn't correct that or their tackling, Gurley has another big day.

Mason on the other hand doesn't have to deal with the DL's that saw Clowney, Ingram, Quarles and the like. He's facing a pass rush that had seemingly no hurries against A&M and has one total sack on the year.

USC also couldn't seem to cover anybody. This bodes well for our receivers, even if Mitchell and JSW are out. Mason might be asked to beat someone, but I just don't know if it will be this weekend.

But with all of that said, we always seem to play USCe close, so I'm not gonna predict a blowout.
