He's not wrong, at 7-1 in the SEC we'd have gone to Atlanta via tiebreaker with Bama. LSU had two SEC losses in 2012.

Hell, if Josh Lambo was our kicker in 2012 we go to Atlanta with the same schedule.

Point being, claiming that A&M doesn't have a very good chance of winning the West in the near future is intellectually dishonest. We came within a play or two of doing it in our first year with a Big XII roster and a first year head coach. Next year, we'll be one of the 3-4 most talented teams in the country.
