We thought OP was actually asking a football question of fans who follow the program. Not trying to turn this into a flame.
A&M came into the SEC with a defensive roster that was thin even by B12 standards, and then lost the key guys in 2012.
Just now have enough guys for a decent rotation on defense.

If you are hoping to have a serious discussion about football, the SEC Rant simply is not the place to make that attempt.
