I doesn't actually piss me off. I've found it is damn near impossible to get mad on the river without some type of boat malfunction.

Maybe I just need a lesson on spinners then. I'm on a bowfishing kick right now though

I've been a few times with a friend of mine. Fun as hell. He posted this monster on his facebook page last week.

That's a hell of a catch there. Where was that shot? I do most of my bowfishing on the Tennessee, and occasionally I'll wander on to golf courses really late when I'm feeling too lazy to get the boat and gear out biggest I've shot so far is a 50 lb buffalo.

Always heard there's great bowfishing there. I'll make it over there one day.

i have caught a ton on a spinnerbait. Probably the best river lure out there.

It's my first go to on the river. I'll usually cycle thru a few colors and blade styles until I find something that works.

I've been on the Flint before with my daughter and we're both throwing the same white spinner bait into a creek mouth. I caught 8 bass in 9 casts, she caught 0. The only difference was I had a silver Colorado blade and she had a silver willow blade. I guess they like the vibration that day over color.

I like them on the river too, because the don't get hung up on unseen brush like a crank bait can. I can't afford to let my kids lose too many $7 Rapalas on the river.

Everybody watch your back today and even if you were very young, remember what can happen if you get complacent.

OK, 6 more days. What is everyone doing this weekend?

Same shite for me. Making some baits, finishing a big order.

Then, if I didnt feel old enough, my sons 18th birthday is today. Really hard to believe.

Weather permitting I'll be catching up on some yard work and watching a few games.

I feel your pain. My oldest is legally buying beer and my youngest is in 1st grade.

yea, getting started having kids does not help either. We had been married for 10 years before we started having any. Im way too old for it.

Damn dude, you have a wide distribution. If my wife came up pregnant again, i would run away from home.

The oldest is actually a step son but I've been married to his mom since he was 6 so I consider him mine. My oldest is a 13 year old girl and she scares the shite out of me. I'm not saying this to brag but my wife was a solid 8.5 in her prime and she takes after her mother.

If me wife winds up pregnant I'm getting a divorce. I didn't have my balls shaved to raise somebody else's damn kid.
