Um, when you have a receiver that is WIDE arse OPEN like Hatcher, they teach you that the only thing you CANNOT do, is overthrow the receiver. You throw it TO the guy and you don't lead him.
He took a little more off of it than perhaps he should have.. but it was a completion and it looked worse because he did the right thing.

Regarding that pass:
"It was a litte double-post sequence we have," Allen said. "They just kind of cut Keon loose, and the only thing I was thinking was I'm not going to overthrow him. So I just gave him a nice easy pass and he did the rest."
