Sims is more comfortable, Coker has way more upside. Coker did no worse than Sims did in his first game, considering Coker threw the ball down the field more and had to deal with a wet football on some throws. Plus he had a TD and no INTs, Sims first start he had no TDs and an INT.

Sims is the guy right now. He's the leader. The team responds to him. His athleticism gives us something we haven't had under Saban. He's poised. He's making the throws he's asked to. He's got a hefty lead in the battle right now.

Saban almost half implied we may go 2QB for longer than expected, but I just can't believe that until I see it.
