Disagree. The short attention span in this country means people would forget about it in a month. I think the NFL does want him on a team - but that's because the Sam story being in the news will get people to pay attention and watch the NFL who normally wouldn't. It's just good press/advertising.

Bingo. For the moment, Sam is money. When he starts being a novelty and gays are so prevalent in the NFL that they aren't news worthy, the NFL will not be making any phone calls.
