Great post, Crimson Legend.
I actually sense some kind of alliance forming with Alabama in mutual hatred toward A&M. Wow. Never thought I'd see the day.
As much as I hate Alabama, it is because of wars fought on the field and Saban and 2011 and your general "gumpness," as you put it. In other words, there is substance to the hate that is really just another form of respect.
This A&M uprising reminds me of Arkansas and the "flagship" stuff a couple of years ago. That got put down rather quickly and I imagine this will too.

I think Saban and Miles have a great deal of respect for each other. Eventually the fans will see the light. Alabama/LSU is now what Alabama/Tennessee used to be as a rivalry, before it turned sour.
