First home opener sellout in seven years. In the rain, against USU, plus we haven't had a winning season in five years. Very encouraging from our fan base.

Yep. We usually don't play a team as good as USU in openers. Third game is typically our big OOC opener with the first two being Austin Peay types.

I celebrated a nice win too, but it's only one game.
Now we are contending for an East championship?
Come on guys

Who else from the East doesn't reek worse than my nuts do?

UGA looked pretty damn good. Gurley is boss. Their D was solid (didn't get to see much of their secondary but their 2nd half was excellent at blowing up Clemson's line and killing anything Climpson tried - those poor QBs didn't have a chance). Their passing game needs work but their running game is crazy good.

Most Vol fans are on the same page, but the rant in General went full retard last night after the win.

We will know a lot more about our team by the Georgia game

Oh good its time for the annual "The Vols are back! This time for real!" article, I sure missed this, just wish you didn't play Oklahoma and Georgia before Florida this should be almost as good a crash as 2012.

At least we didn't forfeit to the rain. Even Arky didn't forfeit to the rain.

To be expected.

And I agree, we will know a lot more in a few weeks. Should be a fun season for the most part.

More excitement among the Vol faithful than we've seen in a long time. Even among their women folk. Hell, at every other school in the conference...even Alabama...every now and then you hear about some guy getting pussy whipped into missing a game because some chick insists on scheduling a wedding on a Saturday. Vol women would never pull a stunt like that. Have to admire their devotion.

The picture alone doesn't do this story justice.

All the Braysus this, and that was a classic. Last year was Peterman will come out and win it for the Vols.

I admire the positive outlook year in and out. The Gator fans as a group are a lot more pessimistic. We had a great season in 2012, and nobody was happy, and after last year (regardless of all the injuries) the lunch mob was out in full force, and they are ready to come out for anything other than an average of 35 pts per game regardless of who we play.
