Didn't mean to cause a massive butthurt derailment.
My point is that while haters like to give Alabama crap for all of the "bogus" national titles they claim, there's really only 1-2 shitty claims of the 15.
Obviously the further back the go, the more debatable and ambiguous the claims are, for any team really.

2004 barn needed an impressive vs a midland vt team and anything but 16-13 lame win...usc blew out ok 55-19 and beat 2003 au at home 23ish 0...au not in usc's class

bama only 1 bogus claim but add 4...even 41 2 loss team and alot of top teams did not go bowling and bama demolished the #2 team and thus the hottest team in the end...but I don't claim it

No way bama can claim a NC in 1945. Come on dude-
"The 1945 Army Cadets football team represented the United States Military Academy. The Cadets were coached by Red Blaik in his fifth year and finished the season undefeated with a record of nine wins and zero losses (9–0). The squad was also recognized as consensus national champions for the 1945 season.[1] For the season, the Cadets' offense scored 412 points, while the defense allowed 46 points."
We had the number 1 and 2 top vote getters for the Heisman - All in one backfield....Doc Blanchard also won the Maxwell Award and Sullivan Award as the top amateur athlete in the US. We were undefeated in 1944 and 1946...like I said- no way bama won the championship in 46...
