Yeah all players are physically limited to some degree... that's just dumb, I mean none of them can fly... so Coker is mentally limited right? I'd rather have a physically limited QB than a dumb one... with all these imaginary gifts Coker can't seem to win ANY QB battles with less talented (Sims) or experienced (Winston) QBs...
I laugh at you sad individuals. Since Saban "almost" put Coker in he's obviously the better QB. Obviously Saban was so reluctant he gave Kiffin an alternative plan that did not include Jake.
Coker won't see anything more than mop up duty the next 2 games... I don't know what reality you guys are living in but, it's kinda entertaining and also sad at the same time.
The sad part is the lack of acceptance for Blake for "whatever" reason lol. The QB job of '14 is taken... here's looking to a more competitive battle for Coker next year. But if he keeps holding the ball too long, taking sacks, throwing multiple ints in practice, and missing wrs high over the middle hello Bateman, Morris and Cornwell. And don't forget about Barnett.
I can't figure out if the desire for Coker to be the man is because you're embarrassed that you were trolled to the nth degree by Jimbo and the medidiots or because you just want the white boy to be the man. Which is fine by me.
Sims has way more physical tools than Coker. Strong arms are only good if you're also football smart and accurate. Coker is neither.

This basically explains why we didn't see Coker throw. Sims had a decent rhythm and it was a close game. It would have hurt to switch QBs unless Sims was really messing up. He started to in the 2nd quarter, but then got back on track.
We'll see Jake vs FAU and USM, and then we can have much more fair debates about the two QBs. I like to think we have two solid QBs, but I wanna see Jake prove that first and I still wanna see Blake do some things that he'll have to do for us to contend.

By all indications, he's smart. Not having chemistry and timing with guys after like 20 practices doesn't make you "dumb".

The Sims/Coker battle is ongoing, and Winston is a special talent.

No one said Coker was the better QB. But he has better physical tools for the position.

What do you mean lack of acceptance. Who DOESN'T like Sims? He's one of the most likable guys on the team. He's all Bama all the time.
By all indications to this point, the QB battle isn't over. If it is, cool. If it isn't, cool. We'll fine out Saturday.

I think it has to do with the other players responding better to Sims. Probably because he's been in the program so long.

I realize you want this to be a race thing, but it really isn't. Maybe Sims is the better QB. That's fine, but that just means we definitely aren't winning any championships this season. Hopefully he proves me wrong but it looked pretty clear to me that he can't make the throws he will need to make.

Can we ban this race baiter? This garbage has no place on the Bama board. Race has nothing to do with the legit criticism of Sims.

Will you come back and own up to this when you are wrong? Barring injury Coker will get significant play time in both games.
