So can a team get blown out by A&M and still be good?

Given that the common sentiment now seems to be that USC sucked all along, I'm curious as to whether or not any team can still be considered good or great after getting thumped by aggy.

No. They'll be lucky to beat Vandy and should rejoice that we aren't on their schedule this year because they would be a streak ender.

Just because they got "systemed" by Sumlin doesn't mean that they can't have a decent season. They could go as high as second in the East behind Georgia if Spurrier can right the ship.

To answer your question, no we're not still good. We were never good but few people realized that with the offseason being what it is. It has nothing to do with A&M in particular. I'd say that no matter who thumped us like we got thumped on Thursday...we're simply not a good team at this point.

They can't be great. But it doesn't take a great team to stop summlins gimmick. Just a good set of corners, a very athletic (not big and slow) front 7, and a good game plan.
