After all the shite the athletics did to the TN band... That's what is wrong with everything. Let the band play instead of letting a 20 year old kid blare the same shite over and over on the PA. If they had it their way, some athletic marketing people would try to make the game into one big commercial like a lot of pro games. We need alumni, fans, and big donors to send those emails to stop playing piped in pop shite music all the time.

Yeah. Also, CBS does a good job of this, but ESPN does not. When airing a game with a team that has a band that plays a lot of music and good music with a crowd that gets into it, pipe that into the television. It's so cool. LSU is a perfect example. When they play on CBS, you hear that song they play when they get a 3rd down stop and it's awesome. I barely heard it one time on ESPN the other night.

I don't give a frick what some slap dick announcer has to say. I want the pageantry and atmosphere oozing out of my 60 inch television while I'm sipping my whiskey.

TN band did it to themselves by not learning how to play anything other than "Rocky Top."
