I think our OL played better (as to whether or not it IS better, Idk).
Our RBs are undoubtedly better.
Our LBs are better
Everything else is a wash

I think we were better in EVERY SINGLE POSITION quite honest. You lose by 3-7 points and you can make that argument. When you lose by 3+ TD's you got fricking dominated.

I think the receiving corps that played yesterday for Clemson was better than the one that played for UGA. If we get MM and JSW back, it's probably a wash.

I would take Grady Jarrett over any guy on our defensive line, and I would take Mike Williams over almost any receiver that actually played last night, but thats all. I would take every other player from Georgia, and thats including taking Floyd over Vic Beasley.

I would agree with you, but it's hard to judge our receivers when there were all of 15 passes thrown last night. Did we play anyone at receiver other than Conley, Bennett, and McKenzie? Think I saw Tibbs and Davis out there but no passes thrown

Need Mitchell and/or JSW back in the worst way. Conley and Bennett are solid possession guys but aren't the types that can really create separation down the field

When do Mitchell and JSW come back?

According to the ESPN box score, LINK, Mason went 18/26 last night. That's definitely down from Murray's typical production but then I think most of us expected that. Murray definitely doesn't have a strong arm by NFL standards but but I don't think Mason has the same range of accuracy as even Murray. But if Mason can just manage the game without TO's and get more accurate on short passes, we should be OK. IMHO, we need to be recruiting bigger and more athletic QB's. The position is just too important not have great dual-threat athlete at the helm.

JSW will be back for Carolina. Mitchell was out of a knee brace as of Friday so hopefully he can start practicing this week.

Other than Bennett, the WR didn't get much of a chance to show their skills. I think the three you mentioned were the only ones targetted, and most of those passes were short.

I don't know what game this guy watched. I saw a demoralized D and an O that put up 15 yds the entire 2nd half. I think Gurley and Chubb had better YPC avgs than CU's entire 2nd half number.

That's a two way street. Were they not productive because the weren't targeted, or were they not targeted because they weren't getting separation from DBs

Conley was also clearly hurting. I also saw Mason have to really wind up to even get the ball out there on the deep routes. Not sure the go route is going to be a huge part of the UGA offense this season even with Mitchell and JSW back. Also, neither Conley nor Bennett are what you would call slow. Reggie Davis is also very fast in a straight line. I think he is just small and gets pushed off his routes some.

I have trouble judging that from my TV set because I usually only see/watch the receiver when they're targetted. The couple of downfield throws that were attempted seemed kind of like jump balls into tight coverage.

If we held a team 100 meter dash race, he'd be my pick.

It really doesn't matter who has better players at what position.
What matters is no one gets arrested or injured over the bye week and that UGA thoroughly prepares for South Carolina.
UGA will need many new folds and refocused determination to win on the road at Columbia.

I would argue that we're better in at least three other positions....HC, OC and DC.
