Just because LSU isn't elite doesn't automatically mean A&M is. Especially after 1 damn game.

It's still August for God's sake.

atm shouldn't b anointed yet. hll is legit. lets see him under pressure, we provided zero. atm has sured up the d line pretty good. the secondary looks vulnerable. the o line I rock solid. qb looked seasoned and athletic, good arm. lets see him under pressure. as far as the cocks, ill say it again, sos and ward should be ashamed at the level of preparation displayed Thursday. synopsis-atm will cause problems in the west.

The average LSU's fans logic is: "LSU isn't elite right now, but we beat A&M last year, so they can't be either".

Never said our win was more impressive. Your win was very impressive. But it was one game against somebody that doesn't seem as good as advertised. I'm just saying the West is still open. I could see AU, A&M, LSU and Bama all winning the West.

Mark May was just an example. Trying to keep y'all from potentially making a fool of yourselves. We still know very little about our teams after week one.

No way it could possibly have been that TAMU made them look that bad, right?

I mean, come the frick on, there are two sides to this coin. Any time you put up nearly 30 points at home, you should at least be in the game.

No way USC can beat Aggie when their best player ever went to the NFL.

No wait, for six months on here it was the other way around.

Never said that. We don't know how good SCAR is. I'm saying I would wait to crown myself champs after beating one team.

That was based on week one performances. So stop reading more into something that isn't there.

Aubbies be like but but but but we're ranked higher.

If folks are going to be so quick to discredit a solid win, that is the only opposite reaction. Especially when all we heard all offseason was how great SCAR would be and how awful we would look without Manziel.

So frick your little pump the brakes spiel.

We can still learn somethings. I think A&M's biggest question marks were addressed in some fashion. Our sack leader last year had 3 sacks. Myles Garrett and Daeshon Hall were in the back field all night. We lost 3 first round draft picks. A QB, a WR and a LT. Our new QB broke our old QB's single game passing record, our freshman 5 star receivers looked great, and one of them had 2 TDs, and our new left tackle looked just as dominant as the last.

This all resulted in what most considered one of the most impressive wins of the entire weekend that subsequently ended the longest home streak in college football to one of the greatest coach's of all time who is coming off 3 consecutive 11 win seasons. There are only 13 or 14 weeks in the regular season, right? Locking down one of the best performances in the entire country means something.

I think A&M going over there and destroying the Cocks only made every other team in the West circle that game on the calendar. It opened some eyes that Manziel may not have been as key of a cog in their success as may have been thought originally.

We know that by the end of the year, LSU and Bama will be better. Possibly much better. And, oh how we always forget about Auburn.

If A&M survives the West they will have to be just as legit as the pundits are proclaiming.

But it's a long season, teams and dynamics change over the course of a season.

It fairly obvious that A&M will be the SEC version of Sumlin's Houston. Gaudy offensive stats but will manage 8-10 wins a season with the Cotton Bowl being their best bowl game.
