You do realize that ball was lofted like that on purpose, right? When a receiver is that wide open downfield the typical pass will have air under it and usually it'll be underthrown as well to insure that the reciever will be able to get his hands on it. If he was facing better defense that throw wouldn't have happened.

That's wishful thinking. That may be true with polished QB's. But, Blake put everything he had into that ball and that's where it ended up.

I think Sims played as well as could be expected. We can win with him, but probably not every game.

Never won every game with AJ either. It's a team game and takes a real team effort (plus some big breaks) to win them all

Sims played fine, not sure why you guys are complaining about him. He is easily better than AJ or McElroy in their first starts.

When the defense was the only reason the game was close.

Im pretty shocked how douchy our fans are about sims. I cant believe we are complaining about him when he did 100x better than anyone thought he would, accounted for 300 of our 540 yards, completed 70%+ of his passes. Our fans really are the absolute worst

I'd like to point out on the "nickel and dime" comment that that IS how the West Coast offense works. It's all about getting 1st downs and we did that well Saturday. He may have a limited upside but he's playing well, better than most expected.
