Arkansas 38 - #24 Auburn 17
quote:

It seemed like everyone trying to tackle Fred Talley was running in slow motion.

Talley ran for 241 yards, including an 80-yard score, as Arkansas gained 426 yards on the ground to earn a 38-17 victory Saturday over Auburn (No. 21 ESPN/USA Today, No. 24 AP)

"Sometimes, I was feeling like they blew the play dead or something,'' said Talley, who started because of Cedric Cobbs' injured toe. "I could hesitate and make moves without anybody in my way.''

His 241 yards were the most ever given up by Auburn. The previous high was 233, by Alabama's Bobby Marlow in 1951.

Didn't Bert set a new Arkansas record last year?

Just trying to stay in the last decade.

I was there... one of the freaking hottest games i can ever remember.... Old man in front of me had to be carried out on a stretcher by paramedics.

Tubby laid some eggs with those 11:30am kick offs.

Hopefully for Arkansas' sake Bert has actually been preparing his team for Auburn and not just shooting his mouth off during the fall camp setting up a huge failure like Spurrier did with South Carolina.
