Nothing about the SECCG format needs to e changed whatsoever. It's even. It's fair. And it sucks to suck if you don't get in. All there is to it.

SEC divisions should be rearranged:
One division for all the up-tempo, HUNH teams. Other division for teams that are concerned for the health and safety of their players.
