There's the old school gun crowd, really the majority of gun owners, that just want to responsibly own firearms of whatever sort for hunting, target shooting or collecting purposes and be left alone about it.

Then there's the vocal minority that want to own an arsenal of military weapons because "ma conshitushounal rites!". These are the same clowns that open carry assault rifles in restaurants and let their 9 year old daughters fire Uzis. They give the first group a bad name.

shite annoys me.

What exactly is a military weapon?

Ar-15? Yep
AK-47? Yep
Mosin Nagant? yep
Mauser? yep
bow and arrow? yep

Point is there is no such thing as military weapon because all weapons have a military back ground.

I have several of your so called "military weapons" none of them have ever killed a soul. I do enjoy target shooting with them however and my 8yr son and 10yr old daughter love to shoot them as well. Also, I do quite often carry concealed but never have and never will open carry in public.

And for the record, the parents and instructor in were in terrible error and the little girl is luck to have not gotten shot as well. A full auto anything is very difficult to handle by me much less a little girl that weighs 60lbs at the most.
