Both of my parents were Military Police, and I shot my first pistol when I was 5. Never allowed to hold it by myself, but it was obviously a blast.

I worked at a Class III range/arms dealership in Georgia afterwards and we had weapons like this and we would never, ever allow children to use them.

There are holes in the ceiling there from grown men not being able to handle the Thompson, I can't imagine why someone would think it a good idea to give the Uzi a try.
