You can't really believe that.

I really do believe there's a media stagnation in terms of Alabama's ranking, and will continue as long as Saban is there. Going into the season, this is UA's most uncertain circumstances in a few years, yet they're #2.

And loaded with talent. But let's just overlook that, huh?

There were about 15 other teams that would've beaten that shitty Notre Dame team.

Probably, Notre Dame was very weak.

There was NOT 15 teams that would have defeated
UGA in the 2012 SECCG.

Young talent is not equatable to experienced talent. I haven't overlooked shite. Defensive much?

I think most Alabama fans I know will agree with you. Hell I wish we could get ranked more reasonably and enjoy some upward trending for a change. It would be nice to go into a season ranked in the 10-15 range and enjoy the run at the top again.

Agreed to the fullest.

In 2012, the SEC Champonship game was most definitely the National Championship game.

Totally agree. Personally, 2008 was the most enjoyable season of the Saban era. The rise is much more fun than the stress of staying #1.

Won't matter at the end of the season. I never let preseason polls rustle the jims.

shite, I've been rustled since 2004. But I suppose there's less weight starting this year.

Completely disagree.

Alabama is stacked at all the skill positions and returns experience every where on defense. The only major question mark is at QB, with a slight question mark concerning the offensive line.

We'll win at least 10 games this year.

Oh believe me, I'm still pissed about 04 but That was a rare occasion that wouldn't happen in the SEC today. An undefeated SEC team is in no matter what. If we lost a game this year and got in I would be surprised, not upset.

I agree, the defense is going to be great. But in this offensive favored day and age, that only gets you so far.

That's why I wouldn't be comfortable ranking UA at #2. Sure, UA is stacked at RB and WR, but what good are they if we don't know how the o-line will gel or if the QB can get the ball to them?

I agree with this. 9 at the very least.
