Agree with this but I'm not naive enough to believe modern attitudes can actually evolve in a positive way.

To each his own. Casual trash talking never has been something I enjoy, although I can be provoked into from time to time. I'm also probably not as passionate about football as most people on message boards, but I do enjoy a good game more than any other kind of televised entertainment.

It's not hard to selectively read the parts that I find interesting. I like the format here and the trolling is fairly low key, at least until we lose a game. As for the rant, you're right. It's pretty much worthless, but I still read it sometimes out of fascination.

Honestly, never been a big Bobo fan, although can't argue with the production lately so that's not a debate I'm willing to get into. But there were times in the past where I may have said things about him I wouldn't have said in the presence of my mother. Prior to that, Vince Dooley at least once per game. I was busy during the Goff and Donnan years and seldom saw a game.
Grantham was horrible last season, but I figured he'd be gone soon, so it didn't get me all that fired up. Plus, our 2013 defense would have been a minor disaster with just about any coach.
