re: all time records? "modern era" of football? what's relevant?

Modern Football-
Either
Post 1967- Integration changed everything and this is when the SEC first had African-American players play.
Post-1973- Scholarship limits come out and actually bring football into the modern era, programs actually have to compete and one team can't just sign players to keep them away from others even though they have no intention of ever letting them play.
Or 1992 (First SEC Championship game)
or 1997 First BCS Title game- no more purely poll decided titles.
