Did y'all see the tweet dude from your staff tweeted with adVANtage capitalized? is that not a minor infraction? I know you can't name recruits, but that's pretty obvious?

That guy does that for pretty much every commit. Never been in trouble for it. Gray area for sure.

You know damn well that most of Volnation would be bragging about shutting down the borders if he committed to UT. You can't have it both ways.
You know I'm not Volnation, right? I can only speak for myself, and it's not that big a deal to me due to our WR numbers right now. Would have liked to have him, but with our tight numbers it might be for the best.

It certainly is for us.

Why did butch waste scholly on woods and another slot local kid

Woods isn't going to be a Vol. He's been ruled ineligible this year and he might as well not even be listed as a commit.
Jocquez Bruce is the local kid that took his spot. His story is pretty good actually.

Hopefully Richt and crew aren't taking chances on any more "questionable maturity" guys and can keep these guys in class. I'd hate to see what Georgia can do when they keep good talented players on the up and up.
I guess UGA could try paying the Athens cops overtime to make sure players don't get arrested. I bet that overtime pay eliminates a lot of "questionable maturity" issues that might otherwise come to light. It seems to have worked pretty well for Auburn, as long as the players don't leave town or stick a gun in somebody's face.
But, I suspect Richt and UGA will just keep treating players like adults, explain the consequences in advance, and then punish them when they break the law or the team rules. He's into character building and that can be a painful process. Hopefully your coaches have reminded Nick and Tray how things work at Auburn so they can stay on the up and up and keep their "questionable maturity" down home, cuz.

No he's not. They've lived here like 2 years. It's a good pickup for them, but it's not like they came in and stole a born and breed Tennessee kid
I don't really care where a kid was born, raised or lives. If he is a good player I want him. I am not for Georgia making another team look bad by poaching on their home territory so much as I am for us getting the best players we can, no matter if they are from Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia or Idaho, for that matter.

And yes I know 247 is the superior service but it's still a heck of an accomplishment by Thig.
Doesn't mater. Any time you are named the best at something by ANY service you are doing good work.
Congrats to Thig!

Didn't he say yesterday that OSU was #2 and UT #3 anyway?

Quotes from Van Jefferson coming on @Dawgs247...
2 interesting notes: UGA's 2016 QB commit @skinnyqb10 was big factor, and #OSU was runner up.

Paul on VQ said that the coaches haven't had much contact with Jefferson the past few weeks. Not sure if it is because they knew he wasn't coming or if they just decided they were done at WR.

Because we're Georgia and they're Tennessee. Nashville is the nice exception, not the shitty rule for Tennessee cities.

If they've only lived there a couple years, you can.

Kids move in to ATL all the time. But we get criticized for not recruiting our state... Now the shoe is on the other foot.
