Game 1? Jones, yes. Tee, nah. Senquez was starting game 1, regardless.

Its nice not to see the same player second string for multiple positions on the oline like we had last year and state has this year. Some real depth and w/out the cb injuries and w/ morris stringfellow availability, we would be pretty damn square in Freeze's third year.

Just to clear things up, we don't have that this year. Seeing quality depth for the Mississippi teams is a nice change.

I was going by some projections on SDS that I saw. How good will your oline be?

Isaac is hurt is why he is listed 3rd.
Bryon Bennett has been a beast and moved to the number one NT, which puts the five best defensive lineman on the field at one time.
Collins Moore is injured and is why Trey Bledsoe is listed as the number 2.
Tee and Carlos going down didn't help, but the depth is good at corner, hence Kailo and Derrick Jones being number 3's. Webster is really good and the Moore's were almost redshirt candidates but with corner injuries they are going to play all the special teams, and provide more depth in the secondary, so it won't be a total waste.
And this too will change as the season goes along. Tee wouldn't have started the first game, and neither would Alford. You don't remove a solid starter that knows the defense/or offense for a more talented player until he knows the position as well or better.
Thursday will be interesting, the Rebels will need to match Boise's intensity and figure their defense out early to get going. We may take a few shots down field early just to get a look.
Defense should dominate the line of scrimmage, secondary needs to not blow assignments like they did against Vandy last season.
That would be improvement.

I don't see any glaring weaknesses which is a nice change. We have depth comparable to our starters which is something that we couldn't say in years past.

Hey, does John read this nonsense on here? No real reason just curious

Rumor is DJ is suspended the first game. There is an arrest report on him dating back to May so that would make sense. I would prefer this be the reason instead of him simply not being one of our top 2 CB's

We have too many players getting in trouble. Damn. Hugh needs to tighten shite up.

It has to be. I know you saw him in the season covering Treadwell. Especially on that absolutely nasty cut by Treadwell, he still recovered and made a play on the ball. He's our best CB now that Tee( :( ) is out.
