It would make qualifying each participants weekly picks an easier task to accomplish, serve the participants themselves in providing a clutter free thread to make and edit their picks, and allow them to quickly compare their picks to fellow participants.

No one is stopping you guys from posting in a separate thread that doesn't have the picks in them...however, this has been going on some time and like Jeffy said, it will work itself out.
