I should tell the story about that - what I am allowed to tell.

I was at a meeting at the Osbourne building all morning. Several of us were, trying to pull strings.

They are going to have their pep rally on our statehouse grounds. Bob (or was it Bill) Wood, a local lawyer and A&M grad, is basically telling all Gamecock fans to get fricked.

That's okay. We're at peace with it now. Next year we will be walking on their student center grass/grounds.

While I was over there this morning I did get to hear the emergency broadcast test ... blaring horns mixed with a rooster crowing several times. It was pretty cool. Unique even.

Hope you have a good week. By Friday, you will discover that your angst was unnecessary.

We also welcome you to our place next year. I hope you are not upset when you see the small area of grass that is a memorial to slain Aggies during wartime. It's not that big and if you feel the need to dishonor killed soldiers, go ahead. They died so you have that right.
