Most police forces are trained in CPR as well. So that medical emergency could be a cop that is on the scene first saving your life....the same for firefighters and actual medical personnel.

Are pretty much all EMT-Basic certified.

Not sure about cops, but most are at least CPR certified.

So yeah, 911 is for way more than responding to crimes.

the cop is more likely to taser a patient. I'd prefer just waiting for fire or ems to get to the scene. In Baton Rouge the FD usually makes it to a scene before the others.
